Art of Élan strives to correlate its programming with art in the San Diego Museum of Art’s collection. Tuesday’s online program filmed in the museum, “Reflections,” took inspiration from a series of striking photos of twins by the late American photojournalist Mary Ellen Mark.

“Metamorphosis,” Saturday’s electric online performance by Third Coast Percussion and dancers Myles Yachts and Quentin Robinson at the La Jolla Music Society’s Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, opened an exciting new chapter in that august organization’s story.
